Welcome to the first installment of Brian's Blog.
Each week, I will pontificate on a tech-topic that is of interest to me, and hopefully you, our clients and potential clients. While not an expert on every residential and commercial product and service on the market, I do demo a lot of what’s out there. Because GTS works with architects, contractors and savvy customers, our executive team, designers and installers have to remain current on the latest trends and newest equipment in home and office technology.
My Blog is also a way for me to cut through the bullshit and offer full transparency into our process. Many tech companies are a black-box. They want to sell you what works for them, often with no explanation of why they are specifying certain products and with no consideration of the durability, efficiency, user-friendliness, serviceability and cost effectiveness of the system. GTS wants to sell you the best system for you, especially since we will need to support and service your purchase to ensure you get the most out of your home or office installation now and in the future.
I will also be using this forum to keep you up-to-date on the latest and greatest trends in the industry, products to look for and stay away from, and general musings about the place of technology in improving our quality of life. And, if I run out of stuff to talk about, maybe a quick tech-joke or funny story or anecdote about a past instillation and how it changed the course of our company’s approach to the industry.
